Frustrating...
The Targeting non-call against the sips in overtime. The defender launched headfirst with direct helmet-to-helmet contact that snapped the necks of both the offensive and defensive players. Man, that was textbook targeting to me. I've seen a hundred targeting calls for less, but both the officials and announcers said it wasn't targeting. I'm baffled.
SMU was called for roughing the passer when the defender hit the QB during his throw, such that the throw wobbled out of his hand. Because the DL fell on top of the QB. What a pvssie call. I just don't understand the penalties these days.
