Our coach said this after the LSU game:

"This is a real program," Elko said Saturday night. "It's not fake, it's not a politician running this program, talking fast and BS'ing everybody. This is a real program and for all the recruits out there, this is a real place. And if you want to be really good at football, this is a really good place to be."

The defense is just getting started and they look Wrecking Crew-ish.

It was a close game against a Top 10 team.

As bad as the offense looked, we almost or could have won the game.

This was not a conference game.

Early loss.

We have all seen Conner play way better than that. Surely, he hasn’t lost it all and forever.

My boys and I decided while watching nothing fly this morning that we should do a cast and blast on their three day weekend next month. Any if not a cast and blast, just a blast portion would be great. I can drive north, south, east or west from DFW. Pretty sure we have roads going in all directions.

And actually, scratch east. I can hunt with my buddy out there whenever, but he’s out of town MLK weekend.

So other directions. Any ideas?

I like him on his show and Gameday, but as an announcer, not so much.

Any of you starting to sweat the possible escalation of this thing from Russia?

Seems we’re heading down a path that isn’t going to be good for anyone…..

1). The excessive celebration after doing average/ expected shit. Especially the D.

2). The near guarantee that in big game-defining situations we FOUND ways to SCREW ourselves.

3). The Coaching . We took above average talent and made them look average, again, especially on the Defense.

Someone needs to explain to these guys that until they actually win something…they ain’t shit.
This team did not deserve the support they got. Harsh, but true.

If you golf - get some new clubs
If you hunt - go out and buy that new gun or get a that new lease


You are going to need something to fill your Saturdays for the next two years because these coaches have proven that watching this team is only going to destroy your health.

I know we're up 35-0 but he has missed WIDE open reads over the middle at least 4-5 times. Watson was doing jumping jacks one time and when Weigman finally saw him it was late and threw a bad pass.

I don't know if he's just hyper focused on the deep balls but his reads are too slow and his performance is not giving me great confidence for the future.

Haven’t watched them play until now. Wow, what a difference in discipline and execution vs Texas A&M. Don’t even know if they have a 4 star on the roster but giving the punks with the U on their helmuts all they can handle

Why are you throwing the ball there. Our defense gave a good effort but we’re gassed. Run the damn ball and use up the clock. Common sense. We take a shot at end zone but we shouldn’t be trying to score fast. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
