My Merry Christmas to ya lads and lasses…

…been round dis joint since she weren't even here. Legally speaking

Not that that matters, just wanted to wave my way back when flag cuz nobody asked

This is my single favorite website 20+ years running. Through all the changes in not only the staff (@Mark Passwaters you’re truly the best in the biz and you’re exceptionally appreciated here) but the community, as a whole.

I love almost all of your personalities whilst simultaneously weeping for your significant others. Pretty sure that one line covers every, single one of you morons.

Without getting all sappy and sloppy on you cawksuckers….i wanna thank you for your jokes, your compassion, and your never-ending desire for the FIGHTIN TEXAS AGGIES to be the greatest they can absolutely be.

MEERY CHRISTMAS, AY!!! I LOVE MOST O U DUMB SONSABITCHES!!!! And the rest o yall….awwww what the heck!! YALL HAVE YOURSELVES A MERRY CHRISTMAS, TOO!!! GOD BLESS EYRBODY!!

I’ll be hunting ducks and geese this weekend.

My first weekend spent hunting this fall. And my first time hunting waterfowl. I am hunting with a friend who has done it before. He trains dogs for a living. He is taking a yellow lab to retrieve. I’m looking forward to seeing the dog do its thing.

I am relying on him to show me the ropes. I have hunted dove for over 30 years. I have some bird hunting experience.

Anything I should know?

Which SEC coaches do you like and dislike?

I just responded to the Air Noland thread where I said that I like Shame Beamer (which is true) and it's Christmas Eve and I have nothing to do this morning so might as well post something that I'm now thinking. So here you go.

When someone names an SEC coach, do you immediately like the guy or not? Don't overthink it, like "Yeah, I hate Lane Kiffin but would love him at A&M". Just knee jerk yes or no. Here's mine. I hope this brings you thought provoking entertainment on this Christmas Eve.

Oh, and someone post the red apple story if not already done.

Elko - Yes
Sarkisian - No (That used to be a yes, but bad choices come with consequences)
Venables - No
Pittman - Yes
Kelly - F No
Drinkwitz - No
Heupel - No (I can change this one easily)
Lea - Yes
DeBoer - Yes
Freeze - No
Kiffin - No
Lebby - Yes
Napier - Yes
Beamer - Yes
Smart - Yes
Stoops - LOL...No. I don't like that guy so much that it took me a while to remember which one was missing.

I didn't plan that, but it came out to exactly half I like and half I do not. Interesting. I don't like anyone but I like half the SEC coaches. How many do you like/dislike?

Merry Christmas.

12 was a terrible idea

These games have been non-competitive.

They should have gone to 5 or 6 with a play in game or two. You can argue 5 or 6 would have a chance, but no chance 7-12 can run off 4 straight wins.

The thought of going to 16 is terrible. The ONLY difference would be no byes and four additional, arguably less competitive, games this first weekend. It would still get to 8 after the first weekend.

Term limits

First we have Biden and Feinstein being walking dementia patients and holding office, but the GOP is not to be outdone. Kay Granger has been absent for six months and found in a nursing home for people suffering from dementia:

Local paper Dallas Express recently launched an investigation into the whereabouts of Republican Congresswoman Kay Granger, who has represented Texas's 12th Congressional District since 1997. The investigation followed reports that she had been absent from office for months.

Dallas Express found out from a local resident that Granger was not missing but instead residing at an assisted living facility specializing in memory care.

Here's more from the reporting:

We then received a tip from a Granger constituent who shared that the Congresswoman has been residing at a local memory care and assisted living home for some time after having been found wandering lost and confused in her former Cultural District/West 7th neighborhood.
The Dallas Express team visited the facility to confirm whether Granger was residing there and to inquire about how she planned to vote on the spending bill. Upon arrival, two employees confirmed that Granger is indeed living at the facility. However, we were not permitted to conduct an interview regarding the current spending debate in the House of Representatives and how or if Ms. Granger planned to vote.
Taylor Manziel who is the Assistant Executive Director for the senior living facility acknowledged to The Dallas Express that "This is her home."

It remains unclear why Granger's staff declined to disclose her condition to the public, especially given the lack of representation during a crucial voting period in Congress.

We need cognitive tests and regular health checks
