Gameday House - Reservations - 2024

All,

We will be renting out our house in the Southside Historic District, located right behind the Shell Station at the corner of Montclair Ave & George Bush Dr (right across the street from Kyle Field).

We built the house in 2013, lived there for 10 years, and have rented it to students the past few years.

We will be updating the house starting this month (new paint inside & out, many other updates, and will be furnishing it very nicely, along with adding a hot tub, fire pit, etc.) and will begin renting it starting for the Notre Dame game this year.

Here is what the house looked like when we lived in it: 201 Montclair Ave to give you an idea.

There is a main house, which is 5 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms, and a 1/1 garage apartment. The driveway holds 12 vehicles. You can either rent the main house, or the apartment, or both. If you rent the apartment, you get 1 spot in the driveway. There is an outdoor kitchen / TV huge oak tree for shade in the back, plus the new Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Corn Hole.

We have hosted on AirBnB for a long time, and were a SuperHost last year for our New Braunfels house, so it will be a 5-Star experience.

Because we are so close to Kyle, we will be offering a 'Tailgate' Experience, where you can tailgate in the front yard (Tent, chairs, TV,Iced down cooler, etc) if you are interested in a turnkey solution.

We will be doing more formal marketing / website, etc soon, but I wanted to first offer the place to my AY Brethren!

Hit me up at pkramer at LKGRA.com if you are interested.

I think I've figured out the problem

We can all probably agree that our last very good/great coach was RC. He was a fit man. What have we had since then?

Fat coaches! Every single one of them, five fat fvcks! It goes even deeper. Sumlin noticeably put on weight while he was at A&M, and his performance changed accordingly. Jimbo did, too. So did Fran, to be honest. I'm quite concerned about this because Elko came in already huge, so I think we're in for some really dark days ahead.

Talent

Some calculations of accumulated talent floating around out there suggest that were in pretty good shape. But how many of our players would start for Georgia? Bama? Lsu? Ole miss?

None of our WRs
None of our RBs
Not our qb
OLs?
Would York start for lsu?
Scourton?

seemed like we were getting pretty talented there for a minute, and now we’re afraid to discuss this again because Jimbo shit the bed with the ‘22 class and wasn’t a good enough coach to utilize it. But that class by itself wasn’t going to win us the SECW and the reality now is that if we don’t start closing this gap back up, it isn’t going to matter who is calling plays.

Ok Ags, let’s talk about the season from here, I’m still thinking 8-4.

I thought Ags needed to win two of the 4 of ND, misery, lsu and tu. Best chance is misery

The next 3 games. Must win. At Florida may be make or brake.

Arkie is going to be like every other year.

At state and usc. Both should be wins.

Left last night just wanting to see improvement as year goes on. Have not seen that in past few years.

Two Critical Plays - IMO

I know that there were many others but two plays stuck out to me. (1) It was 4th down and we were at Notre Dame's, let's say 35 yard line. Conor threw a pass to Micah Tease that Tease never saw it and the Notre Dame cornerback never looked back to pick it up. The ball fell harmlessly 5 yards from Tease. Everyone just kind of stopped and hoped there was a penalty. If Tease would have picked that ball up in the air, he could have adjusted, came back to the ball and made the catch or at least got a PI call. (2) Moss running a 9 yard pattern when we needed 10 and then we had to punt. Good teams don't make those mistakes.

Looking forward

I’m hopeful the offensive staff will devise a few plays to get the QB out of the pocket; bootleg action and give the WRs time to separate with double moves. Even if we put this on film in the next game, it will help in subsequent games by making DBs think about jumping routes.

Time to look forward.

This Aggie Won the Lottery, Sort Of

Scottie Scheffler is a sip, his wife is an Aggie. He won the FedEx Cup yesterday, that got him $25mm, total winnings this year +$67mm. The guy never seems to show emotion on the course but man, he has game. And he credits his Aggie wife for his success.
