The Aggies were back out on the practice field this afternoon for what should be their lucky 13th practice. One quick note was the appearance of Josh Walker out there in full pads today. Not sure how much he has been practicing but he was out there with the group today.

Towards the beginning of the open media period it was the typical stretching and warming up. After that they started with the normal special teams period. Today was a focus on engaging a blocker for the kick-off team. They practiced meeting the blocker head up, pushing them backwards and then shedding the blocker at the right point to get to the return man. They did a few drills like that for a while and then practiced it a little more live speed minus the hits on the return men, which today was not the normal returners but just walk-on personnel.

While special teams was working the d-line worked on some individual drills, mostly technique and receivers worked on catching over the shoulder and stuff like that.

After that they went to what they call fast start which was live 11-on-11 football and although Tuesday is normally not a great day for having a full personnel group (see last Tuesday's LBs and DBs) they seemed like they had a much better group out there today.

First team was a heavy dose of Brandon Williams that stalled near the goal line and saw Bertolet hit a 25 yard field goal. The second team only ran a couple plays before Conner McQueen was picked off over the middle by LB Cullen Gillaspia.

The line-ups for both sets were as follows:

1st team backfield - Kyle Allen, Brandon Williams and Jordan Davis who has regularly lined up like an h-back in most of the time we have seen him this spring. Always off the ball.
1st team WR - Ricky Seals-Jones, Frank Iheanacho and Edward Pope
1st team OL - (L-R) Avery Gennesy, Keaton Sutherland, Koda Martin, Jermaine Eluemunor and Germain Ifedi

1st team D-line - Myles Garrett, Julien Obioha, Alonzo Williams and Hardreck Walker
1st team LB - Claude George, Mac Labhart
1st team DB - Noel Ellis was the nickel, Nick Harvey Victor Davis were the corners. Armani Watts and Justin Evans were the safeties.

When the ball got near the goal line Ellis came off and Richard Moore came on.

2nd team backfield - Conner McQueen and Brice Doelzal
2nd team OL - (L-R) Zach Ledwick, Nathan Kellman, Koda Martin, Braden Meador, Ryan Lindblade
2nd team WR - Sabian Holmes, Jeremy Tabuyo, Damion Ratley, Boone Niederhofer

2nd team DL - Qualen Cunningham, Deshawn Washington, Zaycoven Henderson, Tanner Schorp,
2nd team LB - Richard Moore, Taylor Martinez and Cullen Gillaspia
2nd team DB - Tavares Garner and Alex Sezer were the corners and Sam Moeller with Will Paulhill as the safeties.

Post practice we are expected to get coach Moorehead and coach Hagan
