Bishop Gorman 4-star quarterback Tate Martell will be making his college decision this Thursday, August 20th. Martell said he has already made the decision, and has known for about three weeks now. The schools that were in the mix were Alabama, Michigan, Texas A&M, USC and Washington.
Martell's comments on reports of USC quarterback Rick Town transferring: "It wouldn't have changed anything for me. It wasn't a deciding factor for me."
The impact of a program's QB depth chart: "It was'nt about the depth chart, but really the biggest thing that I wanted to know was if I would have the opportunity to play."
Martell and his father visited A&M in mid-July, and he said that he has not been on any other visits since then.
