Richard is awake and being taken off the breathing machine, breathing on his own.
Communication is through body signals, but early indications are that he has little if any permanent damage.
Long way to go towards mental health and fitness, but at least he’s alive and has another chance at it.
You guys know, without Christ and hope of salvation- stuff gets really hopeless and dark. Pray I can lead here.

For those inclined to do so, please pray for my cousin Richard. He attempted suicide today, someone called 911 (maybe him I heard) so the paramedics got there relatively quickly. He’s on a breathing machine (intubated and in a kind of coma?) currently.
Last I heard from my uncle was “they don’t know if he will wake up..”
Prayers appreciated.
