Greg Little: Dominant in his one on ones with the exception of his first, when he tried to play with a thumb splint and was beaten by Xavier Kelly. He took off the thumb splint and was unbeatable after that. He and Kendell Jones set it up so they could go against one another, and Little handled him both times. The second time, Little stoned Jones easily but took a beating in the process: Jones hit him in the head twice, cutting the inside of his mouth on his braces and ringing his bell. When he got done, he asked me if he was bleeding, and I told him yes, that I thought Jones had hit him in the mouth. "He hit me everywhere," Little replied, but the fact of the matter was the same. He took care of business. He is, really, an elite lineman -- and, after talking to him, I'm a bit more confident he sticks with the Aggies when it's all said and done.
Houston Episcopal 2017 DT Marvin Wilson: Wow, this kid is going to explode. I know he's popular already, but he's really good. He's still got some baby fat on him, but he's strong, fast and an extremely intelligent football player. I've never seen a lineman that young set guys up with one move, then beat them with another. We saw one kid after another either try the bull rush or just try to use their speed, but Wilson already has a great spin move and he uses it. During one one-on-one, he put a spin move on a guard and the guy whiffed completely. The Aggies want this guy and really need to get him.
LB Michael Divinity: Started slowly but was performing at a very high level by the end of the day. He's got nice size and changes direction well -- he started off a little slowly, but got more of a wiggle as the day went on and he warmed up. When he does change direction, he's got a powerful burst that helps him move in the other direction quickly. He had a couple of excellent plays in pass coverage today, including a great interception. He's legit.
CB Byron Murphy: I have never seen a guy with quicker feet and change of direction at the high school level. He moved his feet far faster than anyone else. It wasn't close. As a result, he could turn and run with anyone and didn't give wideouts much room when they cut. He's got better size than I had thought. Should be a 5-star.
WR N'Keal Harry: Fluid route runner who makes everything look easy. Leaping especially. He made a couple of nice catches in drills where the idea was to test your limits, and he handed them as if they were simple. Very well-built guy with decent height. He's a 5-star with good reason.
2017 LB Anthony Hines: Still developing physically, but very fast, very smooth and has excellent change of direction. I was really impressed by how easily he went through drills. He should be really exciting to watch next year as he gets another year in the weight room.
DE Xavier Kelly: Built kind of like Deashon Hall, but an inch or so shorter and better built than Hall was (really, until this year). Very fast and likes to use his speed. Has to work on his secondary moves, but A&M will have (probably) the luxury of redshirting him. With his burst, he's a definite legit prospect.
