This has probably been discussed and I just haven't paid attention, but with his buddy getting the Syracuse job, wouldn't E-Rob most likely be gone even if Jimbo had been retained? Money obviously wasn't an obstacle. Maybe he was a little more upset about not getting the HC or even the DC position, but he wasn't getting either of those anyway had Jimbo stayed. Point is - our portal transfer-out status likely isn't much different than it would have been.
