The thread about Bussey got me thinking about Devon Achane. I went out and found this long cut (10min) of his highlights from his rookie year for the Dolphins.
Granted…. The dolphins found a lot of ways to get him the ball. He was the recipient of some really good blocking, and defenses had to spend some focus on Hill or Tua….. but Dayum! He is so good.
His speed and burst are elite, even for the NFL. He has incredible vision, and he seems to know where the holes are at all times. He can catch the ball, whether it’s on a screen or in the end zone for a touchdown. Finally, his balance is superhuman. He can get knocked hard, take the hit, and end up on his feet.
We were lucky to have him on our team, and if he can avoid the injury bug, he will be an incredible representative of A&M for a while.
