My 13 mo old daughter was born with unilateral hearing loss (perfect left ear, profound deafness in her right ear.) She's anatomically intact, so that allows for a cochlear implant as an option. We've decided to go that route and she has her implant surgery Friday morning.
Was curious if anyone here has experience with cochlear implants (and I guess, Cochlear the brand, as well.) We've done a ton of research, as you can imagine with a decision this big. Just interested in learning more.
