Can I Beat a Dead Horse

I have no idea if true or not but I heard from multiple places that this dude is still dating chicks. I’m not sure who is weirder here. The dude pretending to be a chick or the chicks he’s dating
Doesn’t matter, as long as they still post their vids on PornHub. Am I right, fellas?

There are so many really good people of all races and creeds in this world but there are far too many Bad Seeds (cock roaches) that constantly create turmoil. It's not so much how much they eat but what they fuvk up !

It's just a matter of time before a male athlete that's not quite good enough to make the NBA, men's pro golf, men's pro tennis, soccer, etc will claim to be a woman and dominate women's sports. These dudes can and will do it since they can make good money. If you were like the #300 ranked men's tennis player and claimed to be a woman, you could destroy the competition while making millions.

Part of my hopes that this is an extremely elaborate troll job by the he-she swimmer.

I'll bett
Until women rise up. Nothing is going to happen because most men don’t give two shits for women sports.
I'll bet the admin and athletics dept at penn told the other swimmers to keep quiet, "Don't you say a word!" That horse ain't dead. It's sick

So this dick head pretends to be a woman and can’t even win? Did he throw the thing or what?

Lia Thomas finishes last place in the 100-yard freestyle final at NCAA championships

He basically lied to take the place of a female athlete in what would be the highlight of anyones career so he could actually make it to that level and shit the bed. Dude is a loser and punk

Nothing against Lia Thomas. She has been brave and had to endure a lot to get where she is.

But this is a simple issue of fairness. Allowing her to compete is obviously unfair to biological female competitors.

You can support someone's identity and hope they have a happy life. And simultaneously acknowledge that they are in the wrong for utilizing an unfair advantage.

Here is a direct quite from Thomas:

“I did HRT knowing and accepting I might not swim again,” she says. “I was just trying to live my life.”

We can accept her as a woman, but it doesn't mean we have to accept her as a female competitor. I suspect even she realizes this.

Why are you referring to him as “she”? That’s what opened the door for this whole mess.

Why not use the pronoun she prefers. Insisting on calling her a man when she has a stated preference otherwise seems petty.

Saying he, confuses the issue. Treating her with respect and avoiding transphobic attitudes keeps the other side from muddling the issue. This is not about transphobia. It is about fair play for cis female athletes

Fair enough BD

Because pronouns are nonsense. Lia is a man.

So you accept her as a woman. Ok... please define specifically what a woman is without using the word woman as the definition.

Why don’t they take up what the Olympics does and test for Hormones? If they are forced to compete at the same testosterone levels as women… they usually fall by the way side. They force them to suppress the male hormones.

1,000 years from now if an anthropologist finds the skeleton of the person in question, there is no third “gender.” That’s a term for language. Biology goes by sex. And it’s either male or female. It’s not multiple choice.

“Follow the science” my ass.

Because we don’t tell a schizophrenic that the person is real. It’s that simple. Pretend it’s not a mental disorder all the way to post op. they are only 20-times more likely to commit suicide than that of average Joe. And that stat is for adults, no telling what it will be for the wave of kids who complete transition. Treating gender dysphoria with hormones and/or sex reassignment is like treating obesity-fearing anorexic patients with liposuction.

This is a great reply but, honestly, this is about pulling one's self up by pushing others down. she's part of a small, marginalized group (.6 of the population) that we need to lampoon so that we can feel better about ourselves.

He’s a dude that can’t compete against dudes so he wants to compete against girls. Those facts are irrefutable

Ain't got nothing to do with "feeling better" about anything. Other than maybe trying to set the world back on its proper axis. As you point out (and I assume correctly) so insignificant % of our population can impact so many others in such a negative manner. That merely just ONE young woman was denied her natural achievement . . . . is really wrong. There's no natural order for this "sick, dead horse."

"this is about pulling one's self up by pushing others down" is Lia being pulled up or pushed down?
So because they're marginalized and represent a small portion of the population, we should disregard the biological advantage they are capitalizing on?

Remember the last time we talked about women's swimming here? Beer Donkey gave a good response upon which, I think most reasonable people can agree. I'm fine with the NCAA adopting the same rules as the IOC's or whatever they want to decide what is fair for their sport. I'm not in their sport and, like everyone else here, I'm not a fan of their sport. From reading some of the posts, there might be something else at play here. I think that we've pivoted to "yell the transgender away", which will work as well as "yell the gay away" did, in the long run.

He’s a guy. Period. I don’t care what anyone says. How can this even be debated?

Why can’t he compete against men like he has been for the previous 3 years? I don’t think anyone gives a damn if he wants to pretend to be a woman but he shouldn’t be allowed to compete in competitions that are for biological women
