If Bjork fired Jimbo without strong support from the BMA’s, i.e. without NIL money ready to flow, this mess is on him, and the president too.
No way Elko can walk in, calm all the BMA’s who are pissed at wasting $76 million, and convince them to give generously his first 4 weeks on the job. That is too much to ask. Instead, Elko needs unity and great administrative support while he urgently recruits staff & players.
Seems like Elko is not getting that support, yet Bjork still has a job. And that is after Bjork gave the disastrous 10 year contract extension to Jimbo.
Bjork needs to be fired very soon. Perhaps after immediately after signing day ends?
