Reports out there of him being confined to a wheelchair.
Real opportunity here for some folks. If hearing that a political figure had covid made you- on some level- happy or satisfied, you are part of the cultural problem.
Monoclonals for an asymptomatic person is a bit off label for the EUA.
You sick ****. Vaccines are a bit off label for most people, hasn’t stopped you from condemning anyone not immediately complying.
I have a friend intubated in ICU right now, and he was on a few local channels and CBS Morning News(friends had some media contacts).....the wife wouldn't answer if he was vaccinated or not on news so most took that to mean he wasn't(they are probably right, but I don't know for sure).....anyways, a flood of comments about how he deserves to die, etc. A sick, sick society we live in.
You can take what I've said as condemnation. That's fine.

You and I don't agree on the issues around masks or vaccines, but I do think you and I would agree that compassion for anyone, regardless of viewpoint, is where we should always land.
When you visit any building in New York you will need proof of vaccination and and a photo ID. Isn’t that racist?
It’s slightly funny because he has been so opposed to mask mandates. Texas is also one of the top two states with COVID-19 rising. This guy is irresponsible and is endangering the Texas population with his political decisions. I’m sure some won’t appreciate the irony in this, but….who cares? It been a long 18 month’s!
Yeah, I’m fully vaccinated, tested positive Saturday, have felt like absolute dog shit since then, and am apparently on a waiting list for monoclonal therapy but haven’t heard anything yet. Dr said the therapy is so backed up I prolly won’t get it…must be nice to get it asymptomatic and all
Unless he was against stem cell use (and if he was he’s a bitch for not sticking with his position) I’m not sure why any of this is a W or L for anyone on either side of covid?

Maybe you missed it but some of us on here have experiences that make us distrust the official government story on the safety of the vaccines. It's pretty easy to sit at your computer and criticize those who don't get the vaccine. The government has made it difficult to find out exactly what the risk is, which is something you've either chosen to ignore or don't care about.
I've had the vaccine, but I might have selected a different brand or at least talked to a qualified specialist if I'd known what the effects of the vaccine were going to be.
Wasn't too familiar with his position on stem cell research so did quick Google search....Can't find much of him being anti stem cell therapy....

I think the Vax did its job. He is fully vaccinated and has already had a 3rd booster shot.
Not many people have been as pro-vax (in private) as he has been. Booster shots haven't even been approved yet.
he has been pro-vaccine in public too ever since vaccines came out, he has always encouraged people to get it....he has publicly been against a vaccine mandate.
EDIT: I am not an abbott fan, just pointing out he has been advocating vaccines...oh and apparently stem cell therapy
I don't disagree with you. I think the expediency to get a vaccine out when considering the positivity rate and deaths pushed it quicker than most were use to. I also agree that, if we had more information to make an informed choice, that would have been better as well. But, no virus, no vaccine in our history has been as politically weaponized as this one. Not one.
EUAs, lol. If you ever accidentally had an original thought you’d probably run to a shrink.
