EJ Smith. I thought about it for a few hours driving from Michigan to Missouri this morning and honestly, the recruitment of EJ Smith might go down as one of the most botched recruitments I’ve seen. A few top them (one was a top receiver for a Super Bowl winning team) but the whole recruitment of EJ from Jesuit just seemed…dumb. One of those bird in the hand and Fisher went two in the bush. EJ gives me the Cyrus Gray vibes. Not going to be the best running back, but he will be the most dependable.
