You have too many guys who just aren't complete basketball players.
Coleman can't consistently catch the ball
Hefner isn't a good enough shooter to be slow
Wilcher is slow and can't guard
Solomon is an elite defender but shoots from his chest
Carter is one of the worst shooters in Ag histiry
Manny is a ball hog who is good every 1/5 games and the rest of the time he bogs down the offense and settles for fadeaway junpshots
The only guys in the team who are true hoppers are:
Wade who is short and has lost a step since getting hurt
Phelps who is a TO machine and inconsistent shooter
Payne who is a beast but still young
Andy Garcia who I love but is a litttle limited offensively.
Buzz has done a remarkable job pulling the right levers and making this misfit (albeit experienced) bunch into a really good team, but there are just too many guys that play that can't be counted on to be consistent.
