Micah Hudson's NIL deal

I'm sure everyone's seen what Tech is putting on social media as Hudson's deal. Assuming accuracy - the injury demands seem a bit curious to me. Doesn't look like we had to pay top dollar for him though. Tech friends are telling me he was an absolute cancer in the locker room and teammates were happy to see him go. Let's hear what AYers have to say about this.

Funny Notre Dame Story

In 1993 #1 FSU played at #2 Notre Dame in what was billed as the "Game of the Century."

A group of us from Seminole Boosters, Inc. flew up to Chicago on that Thursday then drove over to South Bend to take in the sights as I recommend you knuckleheads do next year....If you can definitely book this game you won't regret it.

We went to a Friday press conference in this small room...we thought for a game of this magnitude the conference room would be much larger.

Anyway I end up standing barely inside the double doors and I look down and there's a dang Cotton Bowl Trophy being used as a door stop....they had a Cotton Bowl Trophy holding the door open.

Tell me you're a big time football program without telling me you're big time.....using a major bowl trophy as a door stop....I got all of my buddies attention and pointed down to the trophy and we were all starting to realize we were on the holy ground of college football for sure.

Unfortunately FSU lost the game 24-31 on that Saturday but went on to win their first National Championship a few weeks later.

Anyway all of our trophies are on display under security glass with LED lights on them including a Cotton Bowl Trophy....I hope FSU gets back to winning big again and I live long enough to see us use a Cotton Bowl Trophy as a door stop.

Happy New Year Ags

Thursday portal update

The Aggies are now working on getting visits set for two new receiver targets. Miami's Isaiah Orton, who had 56 catches, 616 yards and 5 TD. this past season, is 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds and is just a sophomore. He entered the portal today and immediately announced A&M and Alabama as two of his top teams.
Speaking of Alabama, former Tide WR Emmanuel Henderson could be in tomorrow. He had 4 catches for 82 yards this past season, but was a high 4-star in 2022 (sorry to mention that season).
DE Will Heldt, who A&M really wanted and felt good about, committed to Clemson.

I must share this

for a chuckle

"When I played pro football, I never set out to hurt anyone deliberately - unless it was, you know, important, like a league game or something."
Dick Butkus
"Butkus hit me so hard my body almost liquefied. He helps me up & says ‘You Ok?’
I said, ‘Yeah of course.’
He says, ‘Well if you’re OK, why are you in our huddle?’
He’d hit me so hard I’d followed him into the Bears huddle. He turned me around & sent me back"
