New coaching staff! I still cannot believe we pushed out Jimbo. Thank you rich Aggies.

We are down one starter in Owens for at least the foreseeable future. However, we have talented and untested team. How quickly can this team form the right chemistry? Can we take down some heavy-hitting programs on our schedule? How about beating Notre Dame under a hot Texas sun or steamy Texas night?

Make it count!

Post here re: thanksgiving w/ tu family members

I’ll start…
My uncle. “Aggies are their own worst enemy.”
Schlossnagle hire was only naturally occurring since he’s friends with Dodds - and aTm is second tier in every big sport.

And my Dad is the grad, but I’ve been a fan since birth (shared this fact here several times, chose to play D2 baseball)…but he called me a “tshirt fan. ..
which is true but rich coming from a tu fan, whose fan base is 70% t-shirt fan w/ no familial connections.

I need us to be ready.
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃!

2nd down play calling last 3 SEC games, definitive answer to, do we run "all the time," or "90% of the time" etc.

Now, maybe you can further analyze our redzone plays and relying on short yardage runs (the Dan Campbell effect without their o-line and D Montgomery and J Gibbs)

but saying we "always" run on 2nd down is not a true statement

Any and all runs by Reed, either designed or tuck and run, will be considered a run

Last 3 SEC games,

31 runs out of 62 second down plays (50%)

31 passes out of 62 second down plays (50%)

vs South Carolina

Excluding the last drive of game of just running out the clock with 5 straight runs on all downs:

8 runs (47%)

9 passes (53%)

vs Auburn

All second plays in regulation

13 runs (48%)

14 passes (52%)

vs Texas

10 runs (56%)

8 passes (44%)

Twelve Baseball Youth Raffle(160 guns, 11 hunting trips, etc)

Many of you have generously bought tickets in the past and I know at least three people who have won items with tickets purchased for Brooks. Last year, a friend won a dove trip to Argentina!

This year, we’ve made the option to allocate funds to the general scholarship fund which helps players who couldn’t otherwise afford to play select baseball. This is a great organization doing things the right way, counting Jace LaViollete and Spencer Arrighetti among its alums.
