Colonoscopy Update

Not really an update since I never told you guys I was getting one. I’m still under the influence of the good stuff as I type this. It’s really good stuff.

We all should remember Marco. He passed from colon cancer and pushed us to not be pussies and get the exam.

I have to say I’m glad I did it. I got the dual procedure of colonoscopy and endoscopy. They found one small polyp. And I got some scuba related irritation. And I had a minor issue with my stomach which explains some stuff. All should be treatable so I won’t die early of cancer.

I’m pretty sure I was talking to Jesus while out during the procedure. He assured me I was headed down the right path and to worry less about life. I forgot to ask him about an Aggie National Championship. That’s on me.

Anyway, this is your colon psa. Take care and I love you guys.

The WR room now looks a whole lot different...

Hmmm, I know what a lot of y'all are thinking. He's just one player. Yep, that's true and yet it isn't, too. We were in need of desperate overhaul to our WR corps after this season. The recruiting class was a good start, some holdovers show promise but are young and so were the portal additions. What we lacked was a true proven impact guy to lead the pack and allow Thomas to slide to a better fit as a # 2. But it goes deeper than that. Proven experience at the top is also going to allow for the steadier development of kids like Craver, Bussey, Hudson, Bethel-Roman, Williams, Myles etc....all the way through room. I've seen some criticism of Bussey saying that he's not twitchy or lacks long speed. While I'll agree he's not especially sudden, I've seen enough athleticism and speed to realize he has plenty once he learns how better to utilize those gifts within the nuances of his position. He reminds me of an unpolished DJ Moore early when he was in college. Moore isn't a flat out burner, either, but is exceptional at using his speed and precision to run routes. For Bussey, it's not a 200 meter race. He just has to get there. That's just one obvious example I could've used on development. Time for Coach Wiggins to really earn his pay!

One position group looks like it just went from a weakness to a strength. Few more to go....

The Gaetz Report

Well the Gaetz report is out and this is what the Republican controlled committee concluded.

-Matt Gaetz had sex with an underage girl thereby committing statutory rape. He paid her $400.

-Gaetz paid tens of thousands of dollars to prostitutes for sex, sometimes directly, sometimes through pimps.

-Gaetz regularly possessed and used illegal drugs including ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana.

-Gaetz used a pseudonym on a computer in his Congressional office to arrange illegal drug deals.

-Gaetz helped a woman he had sex with get a passport to the United States falsely claiming she was a constituent.

-Gaetz lied about his drug use in order to obtain a standard Congressional security clearance.

-Gaetz did all these things from 2017-2019, while in office.

The evidence supporting these things is compelling. It includes dozens of eye witnesses who either had such sex with Gaetz or illegal drugs, or men like his buddy Joel Greerberg (currently in prison) who saw him do so. It includes payment records to the women on Paypal or Venmo accounts. It includes numerous text records between Gaetz and the women, between Gaetz and the women's handlers, between Gaetz and his coconspirators (like Joel Greenberg) and text messages between the women discussing their expectations for dealing with Gaetz and sharing in strategies for how to do so. This is not "he said/she said."

It included the sworn testimony of the young woman who was 17 at the time who testified Gaetz paid her $400 for having sex twice with him while she was under the influence of ecstasy and he was using cocaine. She testified she didn't tell him her age and he didn't ask.

This is the man Donald Trump chose to be the United States Attorney General, and Trump did so knowing this stuff was out there.
