Portal Monday updates (updated at 1:55)

So far, the only Aggie to go in today is Myles Jones, who is looking for a seventh (!) season.
Colorado hired A&M analyst Nick Williams over the weekend and they immediately offered PJ Williams, who went in the portal after getting the boot for his suspension and arrest.
USC S Xavion Alford has entered the portal. He had 31 tackles and 3 INTs last year, but didn't play this year due to injury. He is from Pearland Shadow Creek and the Aggies were a serious player for him in 2020.
N.C. State QB Devin Leary is in. He's thrown for 6,807 yards and 62 touchdowns.
Most of you already know, but Alabama OG Javion Cohen is in the portal. Cohen has allowed 1 sack in 900 dropbacks in the past two seasons.
South Carolina TE Austin Stogner is in the portal. He came over from OU with Rattler.
UCF WR Ryan O'Keefe is in the portal. His career numbers: 184 catches for 2,002 yds and 15 TDs. He's from Round Rock.
Here's a familiar face: former 5-star LB Terrence Lewis, who started at Maryland and transferred to UCF, is in the portal.
Arizona WR Dorian Singer is in the portal. His 2022 numbers: 1,105 yards receiving and six receiving touchdowns. He has 3 years of eligibility left.
FSU LB Amari Gainer is in the portal. He only had 17 tackles and a sack this year, but he had more than 60 tackles in both 2019 and 2020 and had 59 in 2021. He was hurt much of this season.

12:25 update: QB Eli Stowers and DT Marcus Burris are in the portal.
1:55 update: CB Josh Moten is in the portal. This one may be a case where he was informed he was going in.

Have we stopped the bleeding?

If so, I'm okay with where we are. Even if Chris Marshal, one of my favorites, is leaving.

Devon Achane probably gone. Moss and Daniels have to grow up fast. Owens in play?

Stewart, Moose, Noah look good. Get one more from the portal.

Green and Johnson + Swede.

OT from the portal? Bryce Foster back.

LB from the portal... or Anthony Hines.

Now, let's go fill in the holes.

NIL

Aren't these kids that gets the NIL deals supposed to be representing the company? We hear about NIL deals all the time and i am sure there are way more taking place than we see or know about.

I have never seen one commercial, billboard, ad, poster, radio announcement, etc for one athlete. What exactly is the criteria behind the NIL? Take Nike for instance, I am sure they are doing it (even if not). Do they simply make these deals, but don't have to do much afterwards? I guess alot of the deals are local or regional, but still, I haven't noticed a thing in the Houston or Texas region.

Transfer Portal Clarifications

@Mark Passwaters

Since the portal officially opened yesterday can you clarify a few things?

If a player is in the portal how quickly can they commit to another school? Are they allowed to take official visits or pay their own way to visit schools? How many players can a school take…..for example if Deion runs off 50 kids can he take that many in transfers? Is there an official signing day for transfers, a early signing day etc?

Sorry if you’ve already answered these, just seems like the Wild West out there now and I have no idea what’s going on
