Now that we have our recruiting class, we are off to the portal next. Need a few player positions upgraded. Not sure if we replace any coaches. Will set up another poll after the bowl game and closing of transfer portal so this is just an early vibes check.

Given what we have currently, I think Scourton and Stewart leave. Assuming we land another stud receiver or two in the portal I feel 9-3 next year. Slight improvement, but the away games to Notre Dame, LSU, and t.u. don’t sit well with me. I believe we take one there and Elko drops a game again that he should have won.

Now that the class is signed, what do we need to add from the Portal? At this moment, and it will change based on who transfers out of A&M, I'm thinking...

WR - 3
OL - 2
DT - 2
DE - 2
LB - 0
CB - 2
S/N - 1

That's 12 additions, plus more additions as current players leave the program, or perhaps another addition if you can add a star player at any position. But I don't know if we'll have that many spots open? Perhaps Elko will aim for 1 OL instead of 2 and 3 DL instead of 4?
