Incredible location. We cabin camped in several forest service cabins in the Spanish peaks and Madison range. Trout fishing was good (for August) and the wildlife viewing was excellent. 1grizzly sighting along with a deep grumbling out of the woods about an hour later that cleared the campfire for the night. Already planning a return trip in October. Yellowstone area without the crowds.
