More importantly, the buildings in downtown are still standing, with roofs, windows, doors, furniture. etc.
A lot of trolling going on with false threats of huge protests. People with fake accounts on various social media stating that 10-15-20 buses of protesters headed to Weatherford with intentions of tearing down the statue.
Local and state militia showed up in mass. Along with a rather large contingency of various LEO's in official capacity.
Probably just an opportunity for the protesters to see how many LEO's and patriots would show up, and use the information for future reference.
As often as the fake reports are coming out, it seems like an exercise to condition the LEO's and locals into not expecting anything.
