This past Thursday my fiancé and I were supposed to have lunch with the strategic account manager (Mike) from Graybar Electric Supply and Andrea who handles their account receivables to discuss the upcoming Jaguar’s new stadium project.
We show up on time as Mike does but Andrea is late so we wait.
Mike calls her and she says she’s still coming but there’s some family issue.
So after a while we decide to go ahead and eat and Andrea never shows up.
Yesterday Mike calls us and tells us Andrea was a victim of a murder suicide. Her husband of only two years shot and killed her then shot himself.
Her husband was a lieutenant on the St John’s County Florida Fire Rescue in St. Augustine. He had three sons and Andrea had a daughter from a previous marriage.
Andrea is someone we’ve worked closely with since 2019 and I can’t believe she’s gone.
What could be so terrible that you have to kill your wife and somebody’s mother?
Just get a damn divorce and don’t be so crazy and selfish.
