My current tv is slowing going out. I've got about 6 pixels that are always white. I'd like to get something on sale around black Friday. A 70" will work best for my space but some companies like samsung are only making 65 or 75. 65 will work but I had a space built for my current 67" so the 65 would leave some space while the 70 would just slightly overlap and look better in my opinion.

My questions are this.

1) Does Walmart and Best Buy carry the same quality tv that I can get at a specialty store?
2) Is it worth stepping up to a 4k Ultra HD tv at this time, i.e. is anything being broadcast in 4k? My current tv lasted about 7 years.

Below is what I have found with a quick internet search. I'd appreciate any advice or critic you might have.

a) Vizio E series 240 hz 70" 1080p LED $900
b) Vizio M series 4k ultra HD 240hz 2160p $1900
c) LG 4k Ultra HD 240hz 2160p $2500
d) Sony Bravia 1080p 3D HDTV $1800

Sharp has a few as well but never seem to look as good in the store.
