Kinda scary article considering the Astroworld incident a few years ago involving a crowd surge.

Times have changed for sure. I never waited in line to pull tickets to a home game since i was guaranteed a ticket with a sports pass. I don't remember anyone doing but i don't doubt there were people who did. But I believe students now don't have that guarantee of a ticket which has led to this.

I remember camping out for Sugar Bowl and Texas tickets (road game) and it was an orderly, unofficial process. It was simply a person with a legal pad full of names in the order you arrived. They would randomly read off the names and if you were no longer there, your name was crossed off. But everyone was spaced out with tents. We got in line based off the list about an hour before the ticket office opened. Everyone waited their turn like a civilized group. Maybe that all changed with the infamous list eater.
