So wanted to bring this to its own thread because if true (and I think it is) it’s freaking delicious. On the other thread somebody asked how a 3-way tie between Texas, Georgia and Aggies would shake out, all at 7-1.

As far as I can tell (because we were all 2-0 vs common opponents (gators and bulldogs) it would go to step 4. Which in plain English is strength of conference schedule. Ie, the conference record of our conference opponents.

I have to believe that bangs Texas out. And the biggest reason is their game vs OU! So the league giving them their crappy draw and OU being allowed to tag along could end up keeping them out of championship game.

I certainly welcome corrections to this - but fair warning - I was the guy that figured out baseball tourney brackets based on pool play winding up late on Saturday, to predict what time our team would play on Sunday in bracket play. (eg avoid 8am)! So I think I’ve got this right.
