Dear AggieYell Family,
First of all, let me say you guys are the best. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continued support, both through the website and personally. This has been the hardest of my life and I can honestly say that we would not have made it through the last year without, y’all.
Mark does everything he does because he loves you and his priority is taking care of his family and loyal team (Landyn). He is very uncomfortable admitting when things are bad. In fact, I’m going rogue here and he will probably be embarrassed that I’m coming to you guys with an idea for this Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
Many of you have expressed a willingness to in even pay more for the annual a subscription, which is a very kind gesture, and it is true that the cost hasn’t risen with to keep up with the economy. Unfortunately, we have nothing to do with pricing. And to be completely transparent, that has essentially decreased by more than 30 percent.
I work fulltime and try to pitch in with things on the backend, like scheduling game trips, budgeting for gas to get to weekly press conferences and now basketball games. Essentially our cost of doing business has risen and our income has stayed stagnate. Coupled with the obscene cost of medical costs, even with great insurance, we have barely survived. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for keeping the lights on.
One person that Mark supports is Landyn. He’s a great kid, helping his single mother make ends meet. He’s currently trying to earn enough to fix his truck, which is vital to his ability to get to games.
I try to keep up with the trends and all of yall’s suggestions. One thing that came up many times is putting a virtual tip jar like many of our competitors do.
We’re committed to bringing you the best and most in-depth coverage of Texas A&M Athletics. From breaking news and game analysis to feature stories and recruiting updates, they work around the clock to keep you informed and connected to everything happening in Aggieland.
As chief intern, I see the hard work and dedication that goes into every article, every post, and every update. Thank you for going on this journey with us and thank you for keeping us going. Your prayers are felt and I don’t think I would have made it through this year without you.
