We had our own significant flooding from an off-shore stalled tropical system that trained the rain into the middle of our state in record flooding in 2015. Some places are still recooperating from that with 100's of dam failures that flooded massive areas in the coastal areas of our state known as the Lowcountry for months. Then, in 2016 we were hit again with a tropical storm that moved slowly from the bend of the Florida panhandle into our area dropping about 15" of rain. To make that worse, 2 weeks later, Hurricane Matthew pounded us again on top of the still overflowing rivers and swamps. We even had to move our home game against LSU to their stadium because of so many roads under water. I know that our state is sending lots of help in your direction and we hope that this will not last as long as ours did.
