At the 5-star challenge in Atlanta some years ago, Vernon Broughton gave me and other folks quotes about why he'd be committing to A&M in a few weeks. He committed to Texas and thought it was hilarious that he made a few people look stupid. The Texas analysts thought it was hilarious too.
Flash forward to yesterday when North Shore's Chase Calicut commits to UGA after giving the Texas people quotes and telling him he'd be committing there. This time it's not so funny.
