For some reason I actually wanted them to win, and they played well. Started the penalty kicks off with a bang and then green-haired Megan Rapinoe whiffed the net on her kick, as did the two who followed her. Cheeky can kick better than they did in that phase. They failed when placed in the basic phase of the game, kicking the ball into the goal on a free kick. And we’ll probably get to listen to green hair whining on talk shows all next week.
