Was trying to boil down what Vandy has this morning and they have two starters that have not thrown yet. Buehler and Pfeifer.
They used Johnson and Sheffield in game one for most of it. The crazy thing is they started a kid with 19 innings and a 6.6 ERA. Predictably, he got shelled and they had to go to the bullpen quickly. Johnson went 3 and Sheffield went 5. Wright finished the game.
Have to figure Buehler goes today? Clearly rooting for a high scoring game. We need them to use up as much of Wright and Sheffield as possible.
That would really limit their options for tomorrow against us. Probalby would have to start Pfeifer and then hope for the best from a host of guys that have not pitched a lot.
