I'm not sure what to think of think of the Astros chances because of their inconsistent season. Who can get hot often takes precedence
Looking at team stats from the regular season a few observations.
As a baseball guy, but not an Astro fan after reviewing team stats I'm thinking they win the WC, Division Series is a toss up, but they are unlikely they win the pennant?

Looking at team stats from the regular season a few observations.
- Winning percentage .547 - 4th in the American League but if they are in the National league they finish out of the playoffs.
- +91 in run differential, tied for second in the American League with KC. That would tie for 4th in the NL. IMO, run differential is the single best stat for evaluating teams.
- Team ERA of 3.74, which is 3rd in the American League Playoffs, and would be 3rd in the National League playoffs.
- 740 runs scored, 3rd in the American League Playoffs, and would be 5th in the National League Playoffs.
- 649 runs allowed 4th in the American League Playoffs, and would be 3rd in the National League Playoffs.
