Saw this article and wondered, how can he still have eligibility .......and are they in that bad of shape.........

Gardner was a three-star prospect out of Skyline (Dallas, TX), and ranked as the No. 817 player in the country and No. 106 player in Texas per the 247 Composite Ranking.

Committed to Kansas, where he was one of their highest-rated prospects where he played in 37 games throughout his five-year career. So that is at least 3 years of eligibility.

Then went with Jayhawks, playing in 19 games from 2019-201. Ok, another 2 years of eligibility.

Transferred to SMU where he played in 18 games, another two years of eligibility.

Huh, 7 years playing for 3 college teams and he still is eligible to play college football. No comprende lo!
