My mother in law passed this AM. Women's Air Service Pilot veteran from WWII. Five years ago the WASP's all received the Congressional Medal of Honor. Truly a women's pioneer but you would never know it if you talked with her.
Raised 8 kids after the war with her WWII Army Air Force husband. A woman of steely grit and wry humor.
