Ruidoso Fires

Been going to Ruidoso since I was about 5, I'm sure many of you also. It's just what you do for vacation in West Texas. @Reckless75 and I talk quite a bit about going to the horse races out there. My dad had racehorses out there in the late 70s. 60% of the homes out there are vacation homes and quite a few of them have burned to the ground. I talked to a couple good friends this morning that have homes out there and both are gone. My brother sold his condo out there a couple months, I guess lucky for him. Anyway, town is under mandatory evacuation and most, if not all roads going in are closed. Probably 100 mil worth of horse flesh is at Ruidoso Downs and limited options of getting them out. Hopefully the fire doesn't get that far.
