I have 1 yr old pug. She has been a very active dog (incredibly athletic for a pug).
Yesterday she was very lethargic. Almost seemed as though she had a little stroke. Seemed disoriented, running into things, stumbling around... episode lasted maybe 20 minutes. We took her to the vet and ran blood work and did X-rays. Nothing out of the ordinary. Vet guessed maybe a allergic reaction to a bug bite. Put her on an anti inflammatory.
She seemed tired yesterday, but nothing too crazy.
Today she won’t get up. Made her get up to eat and drink. She ate a little, but is very weak. Unable to hold herself up.
We are going to take to the vet again, but I would love to hear any thoughts you might have on what is causing it.
