Why in times of crisis and what seems to be overwhelming evidence of evil do so many folks show up with completely unbalanced moral equivalence arguments? For example, when Muslims bomb, execute, behead, destroy historical artifacts, or send women and children to bomb things...why is there usually a crusades, westboro, or klan response within the first 10 or so strings? I can see the klan being closest, but since when did mean language become the equivalent of cutting someones head off?

Second most mentioned during the Syrian refugee program protest is the FDR Internment camps. Why would America take 200K people merely to put them in detention camps (even though a dem is in office and they have a history of that - okay that may have been over the line)? Not wanting an unvetted refugee population from demonstrably terror sponsored lands is not the same as rounding up actual American citizens and putting them in makeshift jails.

Discuss.
