My outdoor built-in 36" grill needs updating and am looking at various grills. I had a KitchenAid grill that worked alright, but the heat was very uneven across various sections. The grill I currently have is about 5 years old and it appears they have gone downhill in quality since I purchased mine (not that it was high end when it was installed).
I've got a 36" built in area that I'm looking to fill and have my eye on the Twin Eagles grill. I'm also looking at the DCS Infinity (9 series). I'm looking for quality in cooking as well as aesthetics - I've got to admit I like the lights around the knobs. I'm also considering the Lynx grill.
Any recommendations, reviews or thoughts? I also have a BGE but want the grill for quick and easy burgers, hotdogs for the most part but also for good steaks at times when I don't want to fire up the BGE. I've historically liked the infrared sear option, but have been told that the DCS cast stainless steel does even better.
Thoughts?
