Yes, Landyn and I know about the injury. We knew before the reports came out from ESPN. But here’s what we don’t know and I don’t know if anyone does: the severity of the injury. A complete diagnosis, from what we’ve been told, is not in.
He’s hurt. How long he’s out, and exactly what the injury is, we don’t know — hence, we haven’t said much.
Update: this just came in from A&M and coach Elko: “Rueben Owens suffered a lower leg injury in our scrimmage on Saturday (Aug. 10). I will address his injury at my next media availability.”
The next scheduled media availability is Saturday.
