Never a huge huge fan but did like letterman back in late 80's/early 90's and relate to him as a cynical curmudgeon. Only watched YouTube clips here and there over past decade but decided to watch the last shows late last week. Makes me feel old that the guy that was the "edgy late night guy breaking the mold" when I was a kid is now nearing 70 years old and retiring.
