I am beginning to look and the price tags are crazy for a retired person. I do have a bias for a V8 as I get better milage pulling my 8,500 lb trailer in a 12 year old F150 than his 2021 hybrid turbo charged F150 with a V6 towing only 4000 lbs. He gets better gas mileage around town but really not that different on the highway. Son has had about a dozen recalls and the salesmen noted the trucks back up waiting for parts.
I know there was a thread last week related to trucks.
What brand do you have and what has been your experience. Looked at Fords yesterday and car salesman was pushing the Fx4s (because they have a lot of them). Not really wanting a F250 and they only had a couple and do not expect many soon. Only a couple of F150 XlTs with trailer package on the lot. Will look at GMC next week and probably Ram trucks.
