that is a really dumb statement.

sports are an entertainment business, a very lucrative one.....to be so entitled to say “we won’t entertain you and take your money” only hurts them. It’s not a reward to society for acting right.

I really didn't think I could care even a fraction less about the NBA than I already did, but after carefully reading through this thread, I stand corrected.

This goes for the MLB and NFL as well.

I really like the MLB. Only pro sport I find superior to the college version in interest.

I've actually been wanting Houston to get an NHL team because I liked watching the Aeros when they were here.

Regarding people who are principled....let me know when one of these athletes quits to become a cop. And someone said they havent seen it before....true, but Pat Tillman quit to become an Army Ranger. Died in combat. And he was making the team...turned down a 3.6 million dollar contract to join the Army.
