My father, Jeff Wunderlick, passed away Sunday at home from a brief battle with cancer that returned from 5 years ago. He would have been class of 1966 but didn’t finish because his biological father was KIA in WW2, and his mother didn’t want him in the military with Vietnam beginning. That didn’t diminish his love of Aggieland. He was a huge donor.
His father was class of ‘44.
He took me to my first game at age 7 in 1974.
He will be laid to rest in his typical game day attire (jacket, shirt, hat). I just saw it.
I probably attended 75 games with him. It’s gonna be bittersweet when we win a national championship soon without him. I will cry.
