I have a neighbor who lives across the street (Houston, Tx). He is obviously dealing drugs from his home and has been for a couple of years, although i do not have physical evidence of this. I see people stop by for 30 seconds, handshake deals, pick up stuff on the porch etc. I have grown sick and tired of watching this go on and want to put a stop to it. However, i want to do this without putting my family at risk.

The tax records indicate he is just renting the house. The landlord lives just a mile or so away although I have never seen him there. The landlord seems like a respectable citizen based on Facebook and Linked in. He is about 65 years old, has a good job and a family.

I was thinking about have an attorney write a letter on my behave to the landlord notifying him of the illegal activity taking place at his rental property. Have anybody ran into this problem before? Have a good attorney that they would recommend to handle this? Or know if this is a good strategy?
