One time when I was my oldest son’s baseball coach (5 yrs ago) I was texting my assistant coach about how bad we performed in our first game. He couldn’t attend the game due to work related shit. It’s a common occurrence in little league.
Anyway, I was laying into him about how fvcking awful all of our best players were. I named names. As soon as I hit send on this tirade of vitriol and disappointment from the previous game….i realized that I was addressing the entire team. Moms included.
You ever do something and INSTANTLY regret it?!? (Clicking on this thread doesn’t count) I pissed off so many moms and probably ruined the childhood of at least a half dozen kids.
Thankfully, kids are stupid and most likely remember way less than I do. That was probably the single most mortified I’ve ever been in my life.
It took me at least 12-15 minutes before I could look myself in the mirror and say; “lol, fvck those stupid whores. If their kids didn’t play like shit, I never would’ve said such awful things about them”.
On that note: whats the worst thing you ever did?
Qualifier: that story doesn’t make my top 5, but it’s prolly the most relevant to this crowd. GO!!
