Yep, a huge (.01) W/L difference there all right....
But was there a real difference? What were the factors in 2013?
Gator's 2013 Injury Recap:
Only 5 Gator players managed to start all 12 games in 2013.
(so don't bother to drivel on about other teams having injuries too)
A UF Record Fifteen (15) players suffered season ending injuries.
Three even before the season started, 2 starters: Debose & Green, + Rolin.
Eight (8) on offense: QB Driskel, QB Murphy, RT Green,
LT Humprhries, OT Moore, RB Jones, WR/KR Debose, TE Thompson.
Seven (7) on Defense: DT Easley, MLB Morrison, MLB Taylor,
MLB Anzalone, LB Powell, LB Rolin, CB/Nic Washington.
While 29 players missed at least 1/2 of a game due to injury.
QB Tyler Murphy was also injured out for the final 3 games.
QB Mornhinweg was injured in the FSU game.
WR/SAK wildcat QB Trey Burton went out early after his 50 yard run against FSU.
Still, there were a few coaching bright spots to be found in that very ugly season:
~ Gator WR's had 148 receptions, that's 81 more than in 2012.
~ WR Quinton Dunbar rsJr has a string of 28 consecutive games with a reception,
that broke the previous record by a Gator Great (Carlos Alvarez - 25) in 1969-71.
~ True Fr punter Johnny Towsend averaged 42.0 yds/punt.
~ True Fr corner Vernon Hargreaves III tied Janoris Jenkins' (2008) UF Fr record
with 11 Pass Breakups on the season, (plus 3 Ints and 38 tackles)
But hey, who knows, maybe your uglieees will get a win the next time we meet.

Does warchant hang out on everyone's boards?? Finally.... FSU is relavant this year. I congratulate them for their success this year, but they forget it's been over 10 years since they were relavant. Florida had a lousy year with 11-13 starters out injured for the season...and we couldn't wait until it was over. Need to get healthy again and are looking forward to a much improved 2014 season.

UF already has two Jr ***** DE's, and they've added to the experienced
DT's on the roster with the incoming class: #2 DT *****, #3 DT ****, #16 DT ****.
Throw in the 12 LB's, including a ***** and 2 ****'s at MLB.
None of the LB's were Sr's in 2013 so the Gator D is good to go. They were still
the #2 SEC-D and #10 in the Nation in 2013, even with all of the injuries. If healthy,
they'll eat his lunch without even breakin' a sweat....
So IF your criminole 'ladies man' is still there, he's likely to be running for his life.
