I work a 9/80 schedule and today is my day off. I typically golf every other Friday and today was no exception. I met a guy on the range last weekend and he mentioned Glenbrook in South Houston has seen major improvements. I had only played there once, about two years ago, and it sucked ass. But the course is actually quite nice now and a great value.
So on to what I saw. On the course, about the 13th hole, walking across in my line of fire comes a midget. I did a double take from the tee box. I hammered a drive past him, right up the middle. As I drove up to my ball, I noticed he was on a scooter. WTF. A midget on a scooter, in the middle of my golf round. It felt like a scene from Donny Darko. He commented on the heat.
I shot 77. Maybe he was a leprechaun.
