Saw an article on how much different programs in the SEC will be able to pay athletes beyond the normal schollie amounts. How much they pay is based upon some type of formula the university does. Results is large differences between schools. A&M would only be able to pay about half of what Bama pays. Will be a huge issue at the SEC meetings coming up. Could be a significant recruiting factor for high school kids making a decision.
