So I'm wondering how much each or your policies went up the last time they were renewed.
My homeowner's went up 18% and I live in the burbs of DFW. No hurricanes, no real wildfire threat, some hail (no claim in years), tornado is always a possibility, fires are incredibly rare and my local firehouse is within a mile.
My $1 mm umbrella police is literally now $1100/yr. Nearly a $100/month. This seems way overpriced, but I have 4 adults in my house, so..
I am with State Farm and have been for 30 years. I'm going to shop homeowner's, auto (x4 vehicles), and the umbrella policy.
Anyone switched recently, saved money and and had a good experience??
